Raised in Montreal, I studied fashion design at Ryerson University in Toronto, before working as a fashion designer for Debbie Shuchat in Montreal. However, since a young age, I had always wanted to work in Paris, a symbol of fashion and haute couture. This childhood dream came true when I was able to spend six enriching years in Paris from 2012-2018.
While in Paris I attended, l'École de Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, where I obtained a second certificate in advanced design and pattern-making. With my second degree in hand, I had the opportunity to collaborate with a wide range of childrenswear brands including Finger in the Nose and Louis Louise as well as womenswear brands such as Isabel Marant and Craftine. Full of initiative and resourcefulness, I organised workshops on fashion illustration and the steps necessary to create a fashion collection through the Meetup group, Fashion Design Process: Do it Yourself, and offered image consulting services to tourists through the Airbnb Experiences platform.
After six years of collaborations and further studies in image consulting, I returned to Canada in order to share my knowledge and experience with some Canadian companies including Melissa Nepton and the Mark Edwards Group.
The fashion industry is an ever-evolving system and I'm determined to be a part of its progress in face of the new challenges our economy now faces. It is with this optimism that I continue to explore new opportunities within my career and how I may share my talents and be of service to others.
